Description

Even if you're out winter trekking or on an expedition, you don't have to compromise on comfort with the Ascent -9 Down sleeping bag from Sea to Summit. Thanks to its rectangular cut, which tapers towards the bottom, it offers more space than classic mummy sleeping bags, but strikes the right balance between comfort and weight. This alone, as well as its clever design and practical details, makes it a great winter sleeping bag that will keep you comfortable even in sub-zero temperatures.
<p
The 3-zip system alone gives you all the options. In addition to the classic two-way zipper on the left, there is a second, half-length zipper on the right side. This allows you to open the Ascent AcIII at the top, allowing more air to reach your body on warm days, while on cold mornings you can keep your feet in your sleeping bag while drinking coffee and still have your hands free. An additional zipper over the foot area allows it to be folded out into a large blanket. It can also be combined with the women's models from the Ascent series.
<p
For optimum warmth, the vents in the chest area have been kept lengthwise so that the down does not slip here. The high-quality, RDS-certified duck down is also impregnated to ensure that the Ascent AcIII sleeping bag will last even in damp conditions. 60% of the down is on the front and 40% on the back, which ensures optimum distribution of the insulation.
