<p>The Patagonia R2 CrossStrata Hoodie jacket is perfect for climbing and mountaineering on cold days in changing conditions. <p>The crosslayer - you can wear the jacket either on its own or under a hardshell jacket - is made from a soft and warm double fabric. The outer material is water-repellent impregnated, while the zigzag structure of the fleece on the inside allows excess heat to escape quickly. This keeps you at a consistently comfortable temperature for as long as possible, even during exertion on cold, wet days. The hood fits under the helmet and is edged with a soft stretch fabric that ensures excellent visibility. The contrasting material on the chest pockets blocks cold wind and also provides excellent weather protection. The two side pockets are positioned so that you can easily reach them even when wearing a rucksack and climbing harness. Furthermore, there are two mesh pockets on the inside of this technically cleverly designed softshell jacket.
