<p>The Super Haute Route means: 100 stages on touring skis from Nice to Vienna. And not comfortably by car through the valleys, but with skis on your feet or on your shoulder over the mountains, always along the great Alpine arc.<br>The Super Haute Route is a skiing undertaking of superlatives that you don't do in one go, and probably not in a year either. The authors spent a full twelve years on the route until they had finally completed all the stages in style - even that is something that few people will repeat.<br>But it is enough to do one or two stages from time to time, to pick out sections of this huge undertaking that are particularly motivating.
