With its 97 mm waist width (at 177 cm), this lightweight, maneuverable ski clearly falls into the downhill-oriented touring freeride category. In this version, the flex is slightly softer and accommodates the lighter average weight of women skiers for efficient edge use.</p> <p <p>A carbon content in the construction makes the low weight possible (1,450 g per ski at 170 cm) without sacrificing too much stability. Carbon stringers on the poplar wood core ensure stability and a smooth ride. A moderate waist optimized for the terrain and tip & tail rocker geometry create a lot of manoeuvrability. Reliable stability and power transmission are also provided by a continuous ABS sidewall.</p> <p <p>A relatively light ski like the Radical 97 helps you to make quick and energy-saving ascents, but can also fully convince on the descent.
