<p>The book begins with an examination of the linguistic history of the Norwegian language. It examines the political and linguistic union with Denmark as well as the question of why there are two written languages in Norwegian. This is followed by explanations on the use of Norwegian and the peculiarities of Norwegian language policy.</p> <p>In the second part, amusing stories are used to introduce the reader to the special features and peculiarities of this language.
