<p>The HMS Rondo Alu Slide-Autolock hard-coated Carabiner from AustriAlpin is a compact HMS Carabiner with extremely hard anodizing and a highly innovative locking system: The Slide Autolock locks itself as soon as the gate engages. The carabiner can be opened by a finger pressure on a brass slider embedded in the gate itself.</p><p>This eliminates the often annoying turning and pushing, which is normally necessary with self-locking carabiners - at the same time the carabiner does not open by itself, because the slider is virtually lowered into the gate itself.</p><p>Add to this the rope-friendly round design, the long service life, and the handy format, and you have a really comfortable handling HMS carabiner, ideally suited for belaying.</p>
