When Anton Kästle fashioned his first pair of skis in his Hohenems workshop in 1924, probably no one was aware of all the future the milestones the brand would achieve.
Construction techniques from racing
After the golden era from 1978 to 1998, which produced more than 130 medals at world championships and the Olympic Games, the last two decades saw the company rely on construction technologies from racing to be used in serial production for all of Kästle’s premium skis.
The centrepiece of the headquarters in Hohenems is the time-honoured factory. Today, the production site serves as a fine manufactory that has become the centre of the R&D department and the alpine race department. Here, limited series and race skis for our athletes are produced with an meticulous eye for the detail.
Performance, quality and durability
Kästle products stands for performance, quality and durability. At the second production site in the Czech winter sports and mountain biking mecca of Nové Město na Moravě, massive investments have therefore recently been made in state-of-the-art facilities to meet the high demands placed on the production of a Kästle ski.
Courageous pioneering spirit brought the KÄSTLE brand to life in 1924 and it is this very spirit that still shapes the brand, and the team today and inspires everyone to continue the story. The result is innovative products for passionate winter sports enthusiasts who believe as little in limits as we do.
